The Road Less Traveled

The Road Less Traveled

                                 Hidden trail, Tribal village

We humans needs pure oxygen. Away from the hustle bustle of concrete Jungles.

Let me take you today to a tribal village nested secretly in the heart of the city of Destiny , Vizag.

Its located in the core of the Kambalakonda Reserve Forest.

Sambhuvanipalem the tribal village with hardly 2 streets and 20 houses.

On a sunday morning we 6 friends zoomed on our rides past the forest check post.

This check post in located near Baba College of PM Palem, Madhurawada.

With in 5 minutes we are at a serene lake with boundaries of green hills.

The fogy mist with bird calls are the only sound one hears.

Our Nostrils feel the pure oxygen lacking in the city.

We continue our ride to the village with lush green hills welcoming us.

Before we enter the village there is a mud track to the right. Mark it we will come back to it.

We reached the village and explored it. A school for children and a medical dispensary are present.

There is a water tank to cater to the villagers. The huts used to house the goats and cattle fascinated us.

The local dogs got alerted with the new intruders and raised their guard. We assured them and returned back to the mud track before the village.

This is the road less travelled and well hidden from outside world.

Just to  measure the distance, if we travel from Baba College to Dabbanda on normal route it will be 26 Kms whereas this hill path distance is just 10 Kilometers!

The initial journey started on a good note with our rides warming up anticipating the journey ahead.

This is just a footway passing on the hills in the dense forest. In some places it is filled with rocks.

Passing through the dense forest on a small path will make your day for the good dose of Oxygen and lush greenery.

We hit some rough patch spots where the bike skids and lost balances. Its part of the unexplored road experiences.

We travelled further and stopped our bikes. There is a calmness one should experience. It fills your mind with peace and happiness which no material things can give.

We made few more stops for camera clicks and continued further.

We reached the other end of the hill path and reached a place called Dabbanda. A few kilometers from Adivivaram Simhachalam Junction.

Once we reached the black topped road the next destination chose us. The Bairava Kona.

This place is just 2 Kms from Simhachalam Adivivaram Junction. The road leading to this temple is bit bumpy.

But felt very mystic like getting attracted to a magnetic power. The Temple is crowded with pilgrims as its an auspicious day. We paid our respects to the deity.

We returned home on the smooth road riding the 26 kilometers back.

It hardly took 3 hours for the fascinating morning ride.

Adios till the next ride.
